This was a good read. It’s a suspense novel, but has some good light-hearted moments as well. The author did a great job really establishing the setting and mood. Felt like you were right there along for the ride. The right amount of mystery, the right amount of suspense, and plenty of mayhem. Awesome weekend read!
Thought I’d take a chance on an author I haven’t read before so I got a copy of The Heist. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a quick read with plenty of mystery/suspense to keep you wanting to turn the pages. I liked the characters as well – they were well written and fleshed out. Overall, I recommend this novel and really look forward to reading more work by this author.
I was not impressed with this book. Poorly written, vary dragged out and repetitious. Left me longing for an end . Bad editing and even spelling!

A gripping novel with non-stop suspense from beginning to end. Brilliantly written, showing a humorous side to the rarely mentioned British criminal life. Hanniford keeps the reader entertained and longing for more.
Plot isn't bad, but the storyline is poorly developed as are the characters. My suspicion is this story was not written but rather dictated into Dragon.
Amateurish writing an characterization. The plot and scenes seemed disjointed. The sophistication of John Glass' hideout did not go with the rest of the character's clumsiness.
